About:

Pete Ho and Paul Nguyen are co-founder of Fantom Vietnam ( ID 13 ) in 2017. We have more than 5 years experience in crypto space including: trading, funding, and node operation. Pete specialties are investing in blockchain products that give high ROI potential. Paul is full time node operator and website developments. Paul has more than 12 years experience in php web development. Currently we opened an investment arm for Fantom Vietnam called FVN Capital. We just opened an office with outsourcing developers for blockchain projects in Ho Chi Minh. We have 4 developers,1 marketer and 1 designer working full time and part-time developers.

Motivation/Rationale

Fuse blockchain is fast and has the cheapest traction compared to other EVM compatible blockchain such as Fantom, Avalanche, Celo, and so on. However, Fuse blockchain lacks the development of Defi and Nfts such as Lending protocol, AMM Dex, and Nft marketplaces. Our vision outsee the NFTs trends is a new multi billion market as collectible items on blockchain.

Why is Fuse?

Fuse had many advantages to other blockchain EVM compatible such as Low transaction fees, cheapest contract deploy costs, and almost instant confirmation.

Why is NFTs Marketplace?

Let say, it is just the beginning of one of our products that we will release on Fuse or other blockchains. NFTs are the future of collectible items, it will be 10 or not to say 100 billion dollars market in next 5 years. We decided not to miss an opportunities to develop on the fastest and cheapest blockchain. Customers will realize they only pay a fraction of 1 cent to mint/trade on Fuse network compared to 70-100 dollars on ETH, 5-10 dollars on SOL, or 10-20 Cents on Fantom.

Objective(s)

  1. Launching a fully operational NFTs marketplace for ERC-721(arts.gaming items, and more) compatibility.
  2. Maintain and update to contracts.
  3. Monitor and secure platform.
  4. Connecting Vietnamese and global artists to Fuse Network.
  5. Connecting NFT gaming developers to Fuse Network.

Thanks for the proposal guys. Certainly, an NFT marketplace would be a huge asset to the Fuse eco system.

Will respond in detail tomorrow with some questions. :muscle::+1:

Thanks for the proposal.

Couple of questions:

  • Do you have a example of a NFT marketplace built by the team?
  • Would the NFT marketplace collect any fees?
  • Would you have your own token minted or would you use the Fuse token?

Hi,

Few questions - very excited about this project.

1 - Interested in the fee model and what level you are planning to set it - similar to Opensea at 2.5%?

2 - Do you have a budgeted marketing strategy, or existing community to sell the marketplace into? (Fuse community will also strongly support marketing)

3 - How long would the project take until first deployment - what development milestones / timelines are in place? For larger projects we’d look to split the grant payments based on deliverables, so a timeline which we can all agree on would be required.

4 - A previous grant had a split $USD and Fuse token grant - for example:

$20k + 200k Fuse

The tokens could be staked in your own validator, or delegated at ~30% APY.

Such a split encourages longer term participation in Fuse, the benefit of Fuse token price gains, plus capital up front to help with dev costs.

Thanks

  • Do you have a example of a NFT marketplace built by the team?
We will have demo very soon, the team just start to play out the platform but I will attach the detail of plat form below
  • Would the NFT marketplace collect any fees?
**It will be 1-3% for fee because we need to fund our development **
  • Would you have your own token minted or would you use the Fuse token?
**We have no plan on that, and it will be depend on market condition

**We are planning about 1-3% fee on our platform. **

We did not have any budget for marketing finalized yet until our product is fully functional.
We can’t just promote on hope.

**There is timeline on the contract I published below. We can take grant as we go or until our demo is publish. Either way is fine with us. Also our team already started the project last week. We will have update very soon. **
4 - A previous grant had a split $USD and Fuse token grant.
**We can take USD or FUSE token either way because we planning to buy up 3 Million Fuse before we release our platform.

Thanks for the replies and project plan - have you got a higher res photo or link to a document. Is this the current version? One was posted in the NFT group which had a 76day timeline.

This is current plan, the developers estimate of project is done by Mid-End November.

Thanks. You guys are doing a lot of work on Fantom. Will you be deploying the same products on Fuse as Fantom, or making them unique to each chain? Will the marketplace also be deployed on Fantom?

We currently have a lot of products in pipeline games, market place, lending protocol, AMM Dex yield farming.
Currently AMM DEX and Market place is focus on FUSE NETWORK.
Other will be determined as userbases in upcoming days.

Hi Paul and Pete,

Good to have talked to you previously. We’re keen to support Fiberblock.io building on Fuse.

As such, we’re proposing a grant offer of 2 payments based on deliverables as per the NFT Marketplace project build sheet you’ve supplied above.

Payment 1: $10,000 USDT + 100,000 Fuse token
Milestone: End of Phase 2 - Customer (User) Portal demo.

Payment 2: $10,000 USDT + 100,000 Fuse token
Milestone: End of Phase 3 - Completion of NFT Marketplace

Fuse Assembly members will check and confirm milestones before actioning payments.

We’ll also discuss how to help market and support deployments of Fiberblock projects.

Any questions, let me know, else I’ll open a vote tomorrow on the grant offer above.

Congratulations Fiberblock.

The Fuse Assembly has voted to accept your grant proposal and the terms above.

Looking forward to working with you guys on bringing your NFT Marketplace to Fuse.
